I happened upon this postcard lying on the sidewalk while walking the dog recently and shot it just as I found it. I don’t know if my image fully captures just how creepy this scene was- to me anyway.

This has a surreal feel to it, almost like the photo of the baby is being lighted from the bottom edge, while the rough surface behind it seems to be lighted from the top. My eye and mind are very confused, but it's an absolutely striking image nonetheless.

I love this one - if I took a picture of a photo I found discarded on the pavement it would just be a picture of a photo I found discarded on the pavement - this is art! The contrast of the smooth surface of the photograph coupled with the softness of the babie's skin contrasted with the cold hard texture of the pavement... excellent - Ric

That's the shadow Britt, harsh looking huh? I was reluctant to even touch it because it looked like some morgue photo to me. Once I turned it over I realized it was just a postcard that I suppose someone purchased down the block and inadvertently dropped it there. I just put it back down and got out of there.

Definitely an eerie image...what is the black above the baby's face? I can't quite figure out the framing and setup. Very eerie ! ~Britt
