Looks too clean for my taste, wink wink.

The comp and colors are really great here Shu! And "mundane" is probably too strong of a word. Mundane is actually how I've been feeling most of the week and I hope my comments are not reflective of that...so I apologize. jano

Jano and Lonnit --Who knows! The dinnerware is MiMi's and taken a year ago. Fat chance of making any shot corrections. I like the composition and colors here, but as stated, the shot is "too mundane" for the challenge. Thanks for looking.) shu

Shu - great shot - I think what Mary Anne was getting at was some "motion" to the shot - perhaps drizzling some chocolate down and to the right. Would add some interest to an otherwise mundane shot. Perhaps move in closer.... add the interest of chocolate drizzling would work for this. I think I know what you tried to do here and that is conveying the table from a different view - but i'm not sure it works for this challenge, although on topic. For me, it's just a tilted camera view of a table, although lovely :) I think you could work on this idea and make a dramatic statement. jano

Very nice. Love the china pattern. What is it? ~ Lonnit

What a great idea! But how?? shu

I love the colors in this one, Shu. It would have been really cool if something was dripping over the edge of a cup or plate, making it appear that the table is actually tilted.
