You are looking much healthier now darlin! :) ~Britt

Hey Paul, it's still the same pic, but I embellished my complexion a little in spots to get rid of the yellow hue that my girlfriend says is really there- she says she loves me anyway :-) It's probably from my misguided youth growing up at the beach in California and seldom using sunscreen. I also added a touch of vignetting and sharpened the eye and brow some more- that might be adding a drawn in fearful look.
Thanks for taking a look again.

Rod, i noticed Brents wonky pupil because i don't need 2 pairs of glasses to look at the computer monitor. Have you cropped and closed in on this Brent since i last posted? I feel drawn in closer than before and sense some fear in the eye. Perhaps it's me.

Thanks for the thought RK- I did shoot some with a shallow DOF originally (as much as I could with a G6 anyway), but couldn't get good focus on my eyeball and brow at the same time. Maybe there are some Neanderthal genes making my brow too prominant ;-)

Shallow DOF would work very well for this picture. - RK

Well, if your color looks that way in the mirror, then yes, I would see a doctor. Otherwise, I wouldn't worry too much. :)

Thanks for the comments all. I tried B&W Rod and it didn't have it somehow . I'm not sure if it is an illusion or I do have a wonky pupil Paul- might explain why I walk into things on occasion. Seems to me I warmed the chair outside the principals office now and then too :-) I was wondering if I maybe looked a little jaundiced when I posted it late last night Britt. I changed the color balance a bit, and maybe I will see a Doctor today? I thought about isolating color in the eye and may see if I like that on the weekend, I'll leave it harsh for now.

Intense shot. I would probably play with the colors a bit and reduce the yellows a tad as the skin looks quite yellow to the outside of the eye. Probably wouldn't take much, you might want to just play with it and see. Or a partial desat would be cool and just highlight the eye. ~Britt

If his freckles & bleeding red veins grabbed your attention how did you notice his wonky eye then?
Paul 02-Dec-2005 09:34
Very good. Ignore the black and white comment, it's the colours of the eye that grab the attention here and the red of your freckles. Your pupil looks offcentre which is interesting, don't know if it's an optical illusion or all our pupils are off centre. When i was a pupil i was always outside the headmasters office but that's another story.

Like it.

I knew someone would do a nude shot. Well done Brent you have a very handsome 1/4 of a face:-) Have you tried this in B&W as I think it could look quite good?
