It's about time the lifesavers wore longer bathers then their nippers wouldn't get photographed.
ctfchallenge05-Nov-2005 07:13
Looks like this photo has made news.
The Lifesaving Association want to ban the taking of photos on Australian beaches to protect their "nippers" from appearing in photos on web sites.
My opinion...........How pathetic can you get!
This is in a Country that gives you a maximum of 22 years for the most hideous murder crime because the Government cannot afford to keep inmates in jail.
Which disgusts me more than anything, considering the USA gives 35years to death for such crimes.
I think somewhere along the line our morals have become confused.

Yup!!! That's a mother's stance if I've ever seen one! I've done it many a time and am surprised I didn't see it here. Thanks for the explanation :) jano

Well I'll be buggered Eric, as this is the first I've seen of your sense of humour. Very well done mate:-)

What! you took me seriously?
I am not sure who she would be posing for but she did have her eye on her young child.

I don't need a release Eric as you don't for your people shot on the beach. I can't make money out of the rubbish I shoot so I will never need a release. Plus I don't put the subjects up to ridicule. But I will get rid of the shot as you asked so nicely mate.

The girl has attitude! Definitely someone who does not belong in this shot :) She seems to be posing for someone and it makes me wonder who. jano

Not quite correct Rod.
If you stood on the beach taking this shot you would be thrown off or asked to leave.
People resent having a camera shoved in their face and the only way this could be taken is with a long lens off the beach and unobtrusively.

This has the makings of a good shot for this topic, but using a 500mm lens for people shots is like swatting a fly with a brick mate. The shot seems to lack space because of this. You need to get in close & personal for people shots................I think.

looks to me she could be a teacher as this is a school group,so nothings changed even out of class.

OK, ignoring you then :-)
...nice yellow and blue, what's the story of this shot? She does not seem to be ready for a wave ride? ~ Armin
