Life at the Bottom of the Bottle (2) *

Found some time somewhere to play with this. Wondering what you guys think compared to the other one...

okay, as promised. I didn't look at the 2 entries for few days. So now I'm kinda looking at them with fresh eyes ;) So this 2nd entry had a bigger impact , than the 1st. With the clarity and bigger closeup of the skull. I still do like the 1st, but this one has a bit of an edge over that one.

This is great! I really like the sharp focus on the bottom of the bottle and the reflection of the skull in the liquid. Ann

I'm with Armin on this one. I like the crop and eery feeling of the 1st but the clarity in this one is refreshing. I'll post back and see if I later prefer one over the other.

Wouldn't say so, this one shows very much improved clarity and sharpness, so it is a very good shot. Nevertheless, maybe due to the crop you loose a bit on the bottle feeling... and thereby a bit on the original title. Heck, I like both of them! ~ Armin

Changes made between this photo and the last:
Different lighting
Increased DOF
Lower ISO
Longer exposure
Tripod used
Photoshop used to remove some dead pixels and correct for a bit of distortion.

What I'm getting is that people just in general seem to prefer the other shot...I find that odd. The other one looks like vomit to me after looking at this one.

This seems to have everything posters were asking for from the first shot, but somehow the first shot looked more like a camera shot. Did you just light this one better or did you do any Photoshop magic on it? This does look good though Rent, well done.

WOW, what sharpness! Excellent! By means of tunnel effect and spookyness I really like this one - by means of the bottle topic, I think I'd prefer your first shot.

I like this okay but I think I prefer the original one. It is much darker in look and in feel, more sinister. However, good work in both cases! ~Sharon
