Very interesting. A different but effective silhouette and very eye catching. Voted

Thanks, Rentasmo and Techo! :-)

I got it! I'm thinking Jane Austen! Mansfield Park?

This is beautiful. I was honestly waiting for someone to post a photo which puts this theme into play as you have done. Great job with the lighting and composition.
I was typing up this reply while reading the comments, at first I didn't know how to put it into words but Rentasmo said it. It does remind me of those Victorian era silhouette portraits.

I love this picture. I really like how the light touches the neckline below where the clothing comes in. I think the hair at the back of the neck is fine, without it I think you would be replicating too much the idea of a victorian cameo. With the hair falling out like that it looks modern and human and oddly touchable.

Thank you for the comments. I tried the cloning you suggested, but I felt it took away from the natural look of the subject. The unkempt hair gave the light something to refract upon, and made the picture more real. I wasn't going for a silhouette of someone perfect. I wanted it to be a portrait of a real person at the end of a long day.

i like this one. it reminds me of one of my shots from 'album cover' challenge. i especially like the extra hair details (except the back of the neck, as other have mentioned). this concept works perfectly fine for this theme. -Abstract

Silhouette in every sense of the word! Great job on this Larson. I do agree with Rod that cloning the hair out towards the back of the neck would be less distracting but that is really a nit pick to an otherwise well executed shot. jano

Very good shot Larson, I think if the hair falling down the back of her neck could be cloned out it would really enhance the shot for me as I find it a little distracting. Well done on a good shot.
