It passed my "test" because it is a dark image in front of a light background. The details of the cat are pretty clear but I don't think I (we) can necessarily be to nit picky with "details" of any particular subject? I don't necessarily think it is a strong image for a silhouette but silhouette as described in this challenge, it is. Now if it was a pic of the cat's detailed face against a white background, I would have to say no to its silhouette potential, but with a side view here and the really dark side view of the cat (with not a whole lot of detail) this to me is on topic and it can be up to voters to determine the strength of the image. jano

Well you passed the Jano test Lee, but I can't see any silhouette or shadow here. I can see nearly all the details in the cat even though its on the dark side I can't see how it would be called a silhouette mate:-)
Good capture Lee :). Now I know you have a way with the kids, but with the cat as well? especially with this shot lol. *Could use some USM IMO :) Give kitty a treat for me. jano
