When I was a kid my mom would always get irritated at us children for playing with the wine bottle opener. It makes such a great little man flapping his arms. An interesting little robot. I like the choice of color/texture in this photo. I too prefer black borders I think but I also think some white around the border serves to...stabilize the overall image, bring it out of something that might end up too dark. A photography teacher I had hated black mats. Not sure if there's a good reason for it beyond the fact that it's traditional.

Very nice! I think a black border would work well here vs the white. Also very creative set up. Like the texture on the wall. jano

That's a very nice looking shot Andy but on darker picys those atomic white borders are really distracting. I really find it strange that photography is having an eye for detail yet these frames & some borders are as if the photographer has gone into another frame of mind when they're on the computer.
