Really beautiful image. The texture on the wall really brings this image out. jano

Mary Anne and Abs got me thinking about my niece's pose. If I remember correctly she was a bit blushing/embarrassed of the attention she was getting from me (with a camera) and her mom.

I'd keep that shadow.

Yvonne, I kind of like the shadow on the upper corner.

That's a good point Abs.

Thanks for the comments guys.

definitely emotional. i would have loved it even more if the little girl was looking at her monther.
somehow, this image gives me 'goodbye' feeling. -Abstract

Shadows are tricky to work with. I might experiement with cropping down from the top just a tad. Yvonne

You're probably right, Aam.

That's intentional Marry Anne. It will look fake otherwise.

I can still see her arm and shoulder.

How about now, any better.
aam1234 02-Sep-2005 18:42
Thanks Marry Anne. That was my impression too. I'll try to find a way to fix it now.

The shadow image is very endearing, Aam, but I would crop out the little girl on the left. Seeing her standing there makes the picture look too posed, whereas the shadow has a nice air of spontaneity to it.
