aam - you are right, this is my dad. However, with the kids around, he is known as Grandpa. He is now a great grandpa.
Paul & Rod - I have struggled for a week plus on these B&Ws. I finally got a sunny day when I was home, and a cooperative subject. I will keep practicing tomorrow.

This does look good with the lighting coming from his back. Looks really good in B&W. Can I borrow him for a couple of days?:-) He makes a great subject.

I love the feel of this one with the light reflected on the old blokes hair. The b+w has captured the differing shades of grey in his ahir so well too. Good shot.

Hi Jim. Don't tell me that's Your grandpa, you mean your kids' grandpa (saw & liked your photo in the rouge gallery). In any case, this is a very nice capture, very natural looking.
