Edit: Quickie-fix to remove the shadows as per Pops' suggestion. I'll experiment some more with it in the high-res version as well for better control and less roughness in the edges. /airwhale

Much better and I agree with you about the "catchlight" from the flash. It helps add depth to the image. Nice fix!

Thanks Pops - I could fix that in post-processing, should be a snap. I'll experiment and see how that works. I still like the "catchlight" from the flash, though... /airwhale

I love this ship, I saw it in 1962! And Mrs. Pops' father was an American born Norwegian. I've got a soft spot in my heart for anything Norge! But the shadow from the flash disturbs me. I think this would be much better with a long exposure on a tripod and no flash.
