I've been trying to remember just how I got to this image Sharon. I shot through the window and there was a lot of backlighting and very little color it was almost a silhoutte so I think I helped it along by increasing the shadows. I think your right about cropping a little off the top. Thanks, Rich

Is this b&w or just deep shadow? I can't help but feel that I would like to see the color, hummingbirds are usually so lovely. I wonder if you cropped some off the left and the top if that would focus attention on the bird more? ~Sharon
