Mary Anne, I think this shot is a keeper! As is. Yvonne (thanks for all your kind responses)

No Abs, that goes against the idea of this photo, I believe.

Let the viewer think & think. That's the beauty of this photo.

very intelligent use of dynamic curvy diagonals. i like it a lot. hat crop is perfect but can we see a bit more face? pretty please :) -Abstract

I did a poor man's crop (covering that part with my hand, he he) and it looks interesting.

Give it a go Mary Anne, and let us know what do you think.

Thanks, aam. I'll try it. Since I chose not to include her entire face, I may as well try even more cropping. LOL.

Come to think about it, I'd like to see more crop from the left, up to where the hat meets the upper frame (or thereabout).

Actually I liked the crop of the hat, it makes the photo more interesting imo.

Yes, the bangs are wet. She had just been swimming. The crop happened because her clothing and the background were the wrong colors. I just wish I had included the entire left brim of the hat in the original shot--I like the way the sun outlines it--but maybe it's a bit more dynamic with the hat running off the edge.

Very nice indeed! Colors are warm (is her bangs moist also?) so it is a perfect title to a pretty photo. jano

I like the way the crop makes the composition. /Oved
