Excellent!

Splendid! This is an example that in some cases a centered arrangement can make a strong image. I am surprised by the large DOF despite of f/2.8 at 70mm. -Gerald

Thanks Yvonne. And I agree with you about planning. Noticed that my best photos (only a couple unfortunately) were the ones that I didn't do much planning for. Saw the thing, took picture of. Hmm, I wonder if my brain is.....

This is one of the most wonderful shots I have seen in a long time. It just goes t show how "little planning" can enhance and provide a great photo. It is really cool! Yvonne

Thanks Abs, was hoping that someone will notice & ask. That f2.8 shows how quick I took the photo. All I did was position the reflection between the two guys, didn't have the time to mess with the settings.
ctfchallenge05-Aug-2005 17:57
btw i just noticed...why did you shoot at 2.8, especially when you have lots of light available (shutter is 1/1600) to bump up the aperture. not that it matters in this beautiful shot though...just curious. -Abstract

Thanks Abs. And agree with you about the DR, was expecting a very dark photo when I took it.

wow aam. this is stunning. i was seeing eliptical halo around sun, on my home-laptop monitor but looks perfect on work's crt. awesome dynamic range. -Abstract

Thank you very much gentlemen.

Superb Aam, i reckon this is the best photo you've posted in a challenge. The capture of the lads is perfect as are the colours and your simple "Yes!" for the title fits so well and just viewed as a thumbnail catches the viewers attention. Well done.

Nice shot! theFly

No, nothing at all. I was walking along the sea front. Saw a guy preparing something to fish with. He said: Catch my friend. Me: where is your friend. I turned and saw this. Click Click.

Wow what a beautiful capture!. The graduation of the horizon adds to the drama. Did you have to use any extra filters like a grad or nd?

-Techo :)
