Thanks for the observation Abs, The photo is intended to caputure "her delight, apprehension and her curiosity" about the reassurances and advice she got from Mom regarding "Its a big world out there, full of promises and challenges" The color was selected to match the mood while she searches her place in the big world and looks out of the window immersed deeply in her own thought. -Cat

Cat, the warmth of your choice of the monotone color contradicts her serene-smiley-cute expressions. may be that was your intention to start with. nice capture of the moment. i like that part.-Abstract
