dvd_luvva, I pull down the midtones a little bit on the color curve, added a little saturation and applied unsharp mask...total of appox 2-3 minutes worth post-processing and
HERE is what I got. One can definitely fine tune the post procesisng for better results though. hope this helps. -Abstract

yes. just play with color curve, contrast and unsharp mask until you are satisfied with the result. if you dont have any photoediting software, and dont want to spend money...i encourage you to look into GIMP. -Abstract

I agree with you about the lack of contrast - I used the flash to lighten up the fountain, but flooded it rather than filled it! Can it be rescued a bit in software?

nice shot. i like this angle. doesnt give me any idea about the size of the fountain. perfectly on-topic. a little contrast would help the shot though. -Abstract
