. . . and I think I need a Lear Jet *

My first attempt at a self-portrat and wouldn't you know it was probably the most clear, precise and sharpest photo ever my camera has taken which I didn't think favored me too well!!! So quite a bit of PS with this. I wanted to portray looking out to the sky wanting to go somewhere, anywhere.

I think your image says what you wanted it to, nicely done.

I thought about this after I posted and finished up that I actually did no UM to this at all! What I did was create a dup layer and blured the entire photo, and then with the eraser tool went over the eye and sky. The reflections in the eye are that of simple daylight. My focus in the photo was to draw the eye to the eye vs. the remainder of the face. As I said, the original photo was so sharp and detailed, it even scared me!

Agree with Andy. The skin is blurred, the concept it ok, though.

This is a great concept and well executed. I like the wide format. Some of the PS work is a little evident on the skin beneath the eye and the eye itself appears a touch oversharpened.
