Tuckerbox *

A kitchen in the Antipodes

The best box of all. The hot gas box full of food. Sunday tea of steamed veges in thick cheese sauce with roast rosemary chats. How can i fit 2 bottles of Bin 407 in the sauce though? Maybe i'll drink them for pudding with the rhubarb and apple crumble.

Canon PowerShot G6
1/2s f/2.0 at 7.2mm full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

beautiful detail in a lovely warm atmosphere
you could catch fire to your sleeve (or something, anything hanging out of you at that level ) reaching for those utensils :0
great gas all 'round then

This captured my eye from the start as I love kitchens and cooking and wish it was mine! The warm colors really bring out the warmth of the kitchen area and makes me think of a warm romantic evening combined with relaxed cooking and wine. As far as the wine...obviously one is for the cooking and one for the sipping!!!!! Very rich in color and atmosphere! Great shot.

Hey Paul, no problem, just send me the extra bottle, and I will forget it. ;-)

Thanks,
pfehlauer you have a very good eye and i've learnt something from posting this. I was drinking the beer as i was cooking and got out the bottle of wine on the left to drink with the meal and as i turned to put something away my attention was drawn to the oven due to the light and realised that i could take some photos to enter for the challenge. For whatever reason i decided to add another bottle of wine on the right and when i sorted through the pictures later on i thought it looked staged too somewhat with the extra bottle. It looked so natural to me at first and captured the mood perfectly but i buggered it up a bit with the prop bottle, i shall leave well alone in future, if it captures my eye straight off because of how it appears then there's no need at all to try and embellish things. I was hoping no one would notice.
Regards
Paul

Paul, your tukerbox looks soooo nice! You also left the lights on inside there. With your description, I can almost smell the tucker! -Cat

great lightning, nice shot. Personally, I would prefer just one bottle of wine... it looks artificial to me... and the bottle should be open...

Rod, i thought you were full of gas up there, or is it just hot air you old gasbag?

Paul
