Thanks for the comments and suggestions! I really tried cropping and cutting out some of the elements but that also reduces the scale and perspective that you get from a full wide shot. The foreground elements also added some interest to an otherwise featureless picture.

Very striking image...my eye does wander to the brown bits on the left. A 5:4 crop, beginning in the upper-right corner, very nearly eliminates them. And with a small push on the lower-left crop mark, they're gone. Just a thought... it's a stunning image in any form.

Thanks for your suggestion. I did put through alot of contrast and sharpening. You can see the top part is already a little harsh looking. The lack of contrast got to do with the soft colours.

Nice shot. However the color and image looks a bit flat. Did you try adjusting levels, contrast and sharping in Photoshop or a similar type program? It will make the image look richer. Just a thought.
