Bulkheads *

I always wanted to shoot these bulkheads as they look like an optical illusion at times.

Canon PowerShot S230
1/2s f/2.8 at 5.4mm full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Nice "elements of design" abstract.

Minimum color maximum impact. I like the angle too. -Cat

Very cool shot! (I guess more warm than cool). Driving my eyes batty. The two contrasting triangles are perfect for this theme. - Tom

Congrats on getting your 7th! I reckon you're speaking about the audio hiss recorded in the videos. I did a search on that. Some people complained of that problem on the s230, sd300 and s60. But looks like the problem is really more common and annoying with the sd500. Pitty :-( looks like Canon placed the mic in the wrong spot on the camera or placed something near it inside in the wrong place. Just a few days ago I read of some other manfucturer's digicam which had a similar problem, someone just opened up the unit and did some simple mic re-wiring. Now I feel awful that I didn't bookmark that link.

The S410 was my first canon, and 2nd digicam. But the first camera I really used and enjoyed. The other, Nikon990 was cumbersome, it's slow and I could never get used to the interface, hardly used it but still a good digicam.

Thanks Techo. I sold my S410 last a couple weeks ago in prep to buy the new ELPH, the SD500. Unfortunately the SD500 has video sound problems, we are chatting about in the forums.

So I am looking at a SD400 when it comes out next month. When I purchase the next ELPH that will be my 7th digital ELPH. I use to own a Nikon 601 SLR. Since I retired that and started to use the ELPHs, I will never go back to larger camera again.

Wow, this is a really neat graphic image. But where's the S410? :-( I think I'll get mine back later today. I bet it will weigh like a feather compared to the 20D. The 20D is actually lighter than I expected though.

Thank you for the comment. Yes this is the real colors. Bulkheads dark brown, walls light grey and off white texture ceiling.

Is this the natural color of the bulkheads? The shades of brown are nicely balanced and create a pleasing abstract. Shu
