Simple and neat!! I like it. Where I grew up as child this would mean simply that the kids had nothing better to do. Atleast it used to be 30 years back -Cat

Nugar... As I understand it, shoes on a wire are meant to signify a loss of virginity. Maybe that's why you always seem to see them close to high schools :-)

Hi all, interesting commentary. I haven't heard about a drug connection, but I'll ask. I also thought about kids having fun only.

Yeeesh, I can't believe this is a global problem! LOL! I first saw one when I was a kid, but it was only that one. Then one developed recently in my area. I don't know about the drug connection though. ~ Lonnit

I always thought it was just kids having fun. Then a woman in a program where I volunteer told me that where she grew up, it signified a place to get drugs. Of course, that's probably not true everywhere.
