Make love, not electricity *

Norway is major extractor of oil and natural gas and country wellbeing largely depends on this activity. The country has a shortage of electricity and there are plans to build gas fired power stations to meet increasing demand.
Here you see young environmentalists protesting against such plans on the ground that this will contribute to climate change. Their slogans read: "No to gas generated electricity". Of course, they do not protest against exporting gas to neighboring countries and importing electricity from there.

I like this picture. It makes me feel like I’m for…..or against…. or… never mind ;) Srf_Cast

I like this one too! Last year I took a photo of a large protest in Melbourne....they were protesting about cutting down trees in Tasmanian forests. My daughter rightly pointed out that most of the banners they carried were made from wood and paper.
Aaaaah, there's always a controversy, doesn't it make life interesting?
