Sunday Drivers *

Any day of the week you'll see several bikers along the roads of Austin, many followers of Lance Armstrong, getting ready for the next Ride for the Roses, or Tour de France. In the distance, some climers on the hill, at the bottom of which are signs, "no parking", "no climbing"... but the weather today is too nice not to take the hike. I was lucky, a boat was passing at the same time the bikes were, another favorite pastime here.

This newspaper frame is a great idea. I love it.

What's with you and frames Rod? :o( OK... I took your advise and put a new frame around my photo. A little crude, but I'm a "photo-journalist" and not a typesetter (not really). I was going to put my picture in place of the Ben Wear, but I thought that was going a little too far. I copied some of the type below my picture from another article. I tend to disagree with you about frames, they are for presenting a picture to your audience, and if you can make the picture stand out, it's a good thing... but only for on-line presentation. By the way, the picture of the unframed newspaper is also "mine". - Tom

Very good Tom, a speedboat, cars & bikes form a very interesting subject. You do know that no self respecting journalist would be seen dead with a frame & drop shadow:-)
