On our selection (*)

Traralgon, Australia

Following Rods' instructions, I walked out of our driveway, turned around and took a photo. So there ya have it....a close up and personal view of us.
Ryan bought his 1st car this week so came home for the weekend to show us. It's developed a problem with the front window, so Mr Fixit and Son pulled the door apart to repair it. The silver car on the left belongs to my husband, the red car used to be mine but is now waiting until Miss 15 gets her learners permit so I can teach her to drive in it. Then it's hers. My car is parked in front of Ryans...it's also silver...we really like silver cars ;-)
The evil cat is lurking on the lawn......this is not the first photo challenge she's appeared in.
Our house was built in 1960 and is typical of the era, although quite a bit larger than what was average back then. Inside, it's more like 1930's than 60's with spacious rooms and a very wide hallway. We are slowly renovating it, but lately it's been less rather than more. It fronts onto the longest highway in Australia....the highway follows the coast right around most of the country.

So there ya have it!

Brian, if you ever feel like visiting, just bring along your window cleaning gear and you can do those damn things! Yeah, the views are great, but those big windows are a pain in the neck to clean. Literally!

Well done young Gayle I now know more about you than any other poster, which was going to be the side benefit of this challenge. Thanks for getting into the spirit of things as it's not easy to detach from taking fine photos & jump into documentary type shots. Great entries which almost makes you me second favourite girl:-)

Wow Gayle! Look at all the windows your house has. They must provide some spectacular views of where you live. The photograph has a nice perspective which ties in a lot about your life. Well done! Brian
