"This is where my mum works!"

Traralgon, Australia

But there's no one here today cos it's Saturday.
This is where I spend my daylight hours. Selling, repairing and servicing computers. I've worked here for over 5 years and I love my job. I'm the only female employee and I do exactly the same work the guys do.

Again, I like the angle on this shot too... and your placement of the reflection in the glass, right between the two upper and lower stickers on the glass. This is one of those shots where you "want" to have the reflection on the glass, rather than eliminating it using a polarizer. Good job.

In the city, everything is open on Saturdays. In the rural areas, just the large businesses are. We open from 9 am til noon on Saturdays (this was taken at 4.30pm), and take turns to work. My turn is next Saturday.

Good on topic photo, of your neck of the woods. You’re a computer geek. LOL I love it!!! I love computers too. Maybe if I worked on them all day, I would not be so passionate about them.

Closed on Saturday? In my City almost everything is open on Saturday, and lots open on Sunday. Is this an Australian thing?

Danny, I bought my Astra in November and it's the best car I ever owned. It's called a Holden Astra here, although it's made by Opel in Europe. Previous cars were Ford Falcon, Mitsubishi Magna (2 of those), Mitsubishi Pajero (big 4WD) and Toyota Corona. The Astra is my first brand new car though, and I love it.

Oh no Gayle, seems you drive a Opel Astra also (me too, never again), great to see where people work these days... cheers

And you can see my car, and two of the places we buy lunch....the Hot Spot fish and chip shop, and PJ's Cafe (half hidden by Bry).

Another terrific shot for this topic, I think we have learned more about your world then anyone else so far in this challenge. What I really like about this shot is seeing the place where you work with the added bonus of the street & shops in the reflection so I can also see a bit of Traralgon. I love these sort of shots to pad out what we know about each other. Thanks Gayle:-)
