Last Stand *

Sunnyvale, California

Fifty years ago, Sunnyvale was a farming town. Now, it is the heart of Silicon Valley. The fields have been replaced by high-tech businesses, shopping malls, and houses. The last remnant of Sunnyvale's agricultural past is this seasonal produce stand and adjacent corn field.

Thanks. I'm glad you caught that. The "open" sign is always up, even though the stand is actually closed for the winter. --Garrett

I like the mood of this shot, the way you captured it! The big sign says "OPEN", however there is no sign of it being open for business anywhere... Well done :)
