This is one of the many street musicians you can find in the commercial pedestrian street of Brussels.
The weired instrument is called Violin-horn and originally it comes from Eastern Europe.
The photo is a real one without PS alteration. Just a street musician shot against a shop window and the background is the reflection of the opposite street.

Oh how cool!!!!!!!!!! I was wondering what you did to get the background to look more like a painting than a photo - it was the fact that it was a reflection! The crop is pure genius! I'm so glad this conversation came up b/c I've loved the shot since the first time you presented it, and now that I know the magic of it I love it even more!!! KUDOS! Thank you Lonnit, Rod and rich for your comments. I agree that this photo looks a bit "commercial" but it didn't meant to look that way. The photo is a real one without too much PS manipulation. It is the cropping which makes it look like this. Here is a link to the original photo so you can see yourself - www.photos.moti.org/stuff/IMG_0327s2.jpg I preferred to crop it that way in order to give a more surrealistic look to it but as a matter of fact, it is just a street musician shot against a shop window and the background is not more than a simple reflection of the opposite street. A real situation in a real moment of time so I think it can be considered as PJ. I also agree to what Rod said that without commentry, this photo can be everywhere, so here it comes... Moti

That's right Lonnit, Without commentary to paint a picture of this mans surroundings sort of like "it's a regular Sunday street market in Brussels with various street musicians etc etc. So this very good shot is off topic. Without commentary it could be anywhere in the world.

Moti, I still LOVE this image! It's very professional and commercial. I don't know why it never got proper recognition the last time you entered it. Maybe people here look for more 'artsy' than 'commercial'? Now if it were PSed with some effect or other, it would make it more artsy and maybe garner more attention - or not b/c then they might not like it because it's not 'pure' anymore, it's PSed. Not that I think you should do anything to it (ok, maybe just a tad of sharpening), I'm just trying to figure why something this good did not do as well as I thought it would. It really is fantastic! ~ Lonnit
