Thanks, Alex

Yellow against blue ... And then, not too contrasty, very appropriate for the title. Great

LOL, Thanks :)

That's it, a lot better. Amazing how a tiny part of a shot can spoil it, I don't even mind the two little windows now.

I'll try to clown the right hand roof and see what happens.

Nice shot Nugar. I agree with the others on the crop, but we all know its easy to be an armchair critic, BUT re-shoots and new crops sometimes just don’t work out well.

nugar this is wonderful, I agree with the first poster the light and the cross window are wonderful. I will admit to my eye being drawn to that other part of the roof on the right. I suppose it is what it is, maybe you could clone out that part with some sky. But then I might be the only one bothered by it.

I read you, but the problem is in the shape of the church. Unless I just crop the image and turn it too skiny for my taste, I would have to move the camera a bit to my left and then another window and part os a roof would show. If I zoom, it would be more thight in the frame even. So this was the only real-life composition that I liked. I have several more took the same morning, but this is the on I like the best.

Very nice light on this shot but the composition bothers me. Where the wiggly wall comes down from the cross & meets the horizontal wall is where I would have had my right edge. The two windows bottom right & the bit of roof above spoil it for me. You could have almost shot this straight on with that lovely light.

Thanks, that was a good suggestion. I uploaded again, since I had it as aRGB. Now it is sRGB again.

It looks much better! Brian

How about now?
Nugar05-Feb-2005 19:27
Thanks Brian! I agree with your suggestion. I'll see what I can do about that...

Nugar, The color in this is just fabulous. The golden light on the golden church is something to revere! Add this to the blue sky and it can’t get much better. My only suggestion is to crop out what ever is at the bottom right. You could the perspective crop function in PS and only lift the bottom right corner above the object. I think this would still leave in the bottom of the cross shaped window. Great work! Brian
