Hi Paul, Thanks for your comment. I should have said my new lighting equipment... I used to shot these still lifes using to 150W spotlights, of the garden variety, but a few days ago I bought two AC slave flashes, which I didn't even know existed. They screw in a normal outlet and are triggered by your normal flash. On the pro side, they use more less energy than the three 150W spots and do not heat the subject, but for this kind of shots, they are almost too powerful, so I'm learning how to bounce them and where. I will probably have to build or buy diffusors for them, as they can be really harsh.
