If you squint a certain way, it looks as if the leaves in the water are still on the reflected branches. Alas, all our trees are mostly bare and will remain so for months to come.
Maybe my husband and sons are right...they always say, "You're such a goody!" LOL

Gawd Mary Anne you must be one of the very few that try & stick to the topic. We just attach a title that implies we've stuck to the topic. Trees or no trees thats a lovely shot:-)
Rod, if the tree reflections were not there, the basic duality of this complex image would be lost. Maybe I was trying too hard to meet the definition given in the original post:
"Let us go back to the original Latin word complexus, which signifies "entwined", "twisted together". This may be interpreted in the following way: in order to have a complex you need two or more components, which are joined in such a way that it is difficult to separate them."

This has a lovely look to it, the colouring & flow of the leaves through the shot makes this one a bit special. I love it. I think I would even love it a bit more if there were no tree reflections in the shot. Great work Mary Anne:-)

i like this mary anne. the lighting is perfect, the colors are vibrant and yes, it does look like the leaves are still on teh branches. i'd say this was a complex photo to take.
