Warm By The Fire #2*

The first time we lit up the fire this starting cold season. Hope this photo looks more comfortable ;-) The only PS work done , is some levels and a touch of sharpness.

Hi there :-) Here is the exif data, I had to lower the exposure as low as possible, this photo was taken a few seconds after the first shot I posted. Exposure Compensation -2 step Shutter Speed 1/40 second Flash Off White Balance Cloudy Saturation Normal The camera has no manual aperture but it was set to F4.9

Only at Christmas my mother fires up the fireplace at her house, I will be taking shots of it this year, I don’t know why I didn’t in the past. I like your photo. Since we have the same cameras, do you remember what setting you used?

I would keep this one, I find it to be more comfortable and flames are softer and more interesting. Rich

aam1234 and Dorys, glad you like this one. Before the challenge ends I would like to remove one of the photos, so just one fireplace photo remains. Though I'm not certain which one it will be at the moment.
