In the Mountains (*)

Artists' Point

We live not far from the Mount Baker Snoqualmie National Forest. Here I can immerse myself in the beauty of the mountains. It is a place of comfort for me. This is a view of Mt Shuksan reflected in a pond at the top of the trail at Artists' Point.

Nice one Anne! I don't know how you made such a large scene feel so intimate, but it sure does! ~ Lonnit

It's an easy walk from the parking lot at Artists' Point, about a mile in. The whole trail has spectacular views of Mt Baker on the right and Mt Shuksan on the left. On a day like this one there is nothing more wonderful than to go up there and take in the beauty even if surrounded by others doing the same. Families, tourists and hikers all go there. Ann

I love this one. Can you drive to this location or does one have to hike in?
