Lovely lighting and detail. I really like how you singled out this bud :-) I could never get so close (actually, it's my neighbor's tree but they dont mind ;-)), the gardeners trim them trees way too much. I'll have to give it another shot next year.

flowers are one of my favorite subjects to photograph. this shot is wonderful. my magnolia flowers never get passed the snail feast each morning!
