Are, what a beautiful place to live. There is something so peaceful and elemental about those mountains and fjords. I would love to see more of your scenic shots. Mary Anne

Alexeig: Well, I have not yet reached that point in my evolution as photographer. My intention is to learn a photo editing program. I got my camera this summer after many years without any. I had to start from scratch. I have used the last weeks to learn the possibilities and limits of my G5, and it has given me an enormous amount of joy. Thank you for your comment, I love to hear from experienced photographers. Mary Anne: It is a couple of kilometers from my birthplace. I think I will post a photo from my birthplace, too, named Tangstad, Lofoton. Lofoten is an archipelago in the north of Norway. It is an group of islands with dramatic mountains and fjords, together with green fields. You have hundreds of such views in a compact area. And a lot of fish in the fjords. too ... Nice, Are. I wonder how it would look if you use a bit of Shadow/Highlight feature in Photoshop PS. Right now foreground looks a bit too dark on my monitor
