Thanks for the kind words. Bill and Mary, I can clone out the buildings if they become to much of a distraction. Mary, I also looked at the image with a grid on it and had a hard time finding a straight line of reference. We also only rode the sky lift to get to the top. They were to tired from all the other activities at the park. Atothev, your comment made me realize that my title had a dual meaning. The cloud and the sky are also two friends. 8-) theFly
A nice shot, Lee, but I agree with Bill about the skyscrapers on the left as well as the tower faintly visible to the right of the girls. You probably want to keep them as points of interest for yourself, but I'd get rid of them for this competition. Also, I think the photo suffers a bit of "tilt disease," which seems to spreading through the current galleries. BTW, did you and those kids actually climb to the top of Stone Mountain?
This is a great capture, The only thing that bugs me is what looks like the top of a skyscraper on the left horizon. The reason this bugs me is the mental image i get of the children against the sky is utmost magical or even heavenly, and the top of the building is like a lite beer comercial during a hd nova broadcast. I Love the shot though!
