Thanks Lonnit. When we were at the zoo they were cleaning the pond that is right in front of the flamingos. There fore they were all on land and back in the shadows, which resulted in the picture. theFly
I adore the texture of this! There's such a lovely smoothness. It's rather intestinal, the way some of those necks curve on the right side. Gross as that sounds, it's a great thing! LOL! Such an unusual shot. Those birds need way more shrimp in their diets though - that's where the pink color comes from that they are lacking. However, this shot wouldn't be nearly as intersting if they were all pink. This is most definitely a poster the zoo should sell! ~ Lonnit
