I do love the monochrome character of this picture - very nice.

Linoleum! Yup, I think I can get that here. Thanks!

No, it doesn't wrinkle - it's far to thick to wrinkle, about 3mm. If you don't use wallpaper in Panama, maybe you should check out linoleum or other white synthetic materials. Kent paper - a semi mat white cardboard - is another useful material for backgrounds.

Does it wrinkle? I need something I can reuse a lot and just yesterday, when shooting some usb an ethernet cables I noticed that some of the props I used to keep the cables steady stained the board. It looks really good. I'll try to look for something similar here, although here in Panama we tend to use stucco and not wallpaper.

As a white background I use a large piece of thick vinyl wall paper I bought at the paint supply store. The size is about one square meter. It's plain white, mat with a light satin gloss. When it gets dirty I can sponge it off.

Great picture, Julian, what did you use for background? Lately I've been using a kind of thin cardboard with one glossy side and works great, only it is too small.

Beautiful monochromatic "portrait"...I love the way you've managed to do this with clear glass and a white background. All that's missing is a baby bottle (LOL).
