River bank *

This is how the bank of our river looks in a sunny day. Sunny day is in itself beyond the ordinary where I live, so are the houses majority of which retain tradition only in exterior, all within is remodelled totally according to contemporary tastes. And yes, some of them still stand on wooden poles.

Many thanks, Ann and Neil. Ann: I understand what you mean. I visited once your neigborhood (Vancouver) but the weather was merciful then. I loved the place and its surroundings very much remind some of Norwegian nature. You submitted some terrific contributions to these challenges and I learned a lot from them

Beautiful Alex. I always wondered where you lived. Now I know. Your weather though colder is similar to ours... lots of gray. I like this picture very much. The colors are wonderful and it has a feeling of peacefulness. Ann C

I like this, Alex! Very much indeed. The colours, character and perspective all tie it together nicely. And the unusual architecture is very on topic. This is the type of shot I could never get in Australia because tis is very different to anything I've seen here.
