It's a little known fact that Horace Chrysler, the man responsible for the construction of the Art Deco masterpiece Chrysler Building, actually lived in the 67th Floor (termed "The Attic" by its occupants) for the last 35 years of his life. He was affectionately known in the building for habitually opening the windows and shouting at passers by to "stay off his property," but being 67 floors up, he was seldom heeded.
