For me, "lights out" reminds me a lot about sleep. So here is my first submission, 'See you soon'. Its a self portrait of me about to snooze off.

the original caption (i posted it on deviantart.com first) actually reads: "Anesthetized, drugged, sedated. Taking my last weary look around with your vivid image stuck in my head. I will travel my long journey... alone... but our paths will cross again. Till then, good bye... " but i wasnt sure whether to put it or not :-) very good observation!

Definitely not a peaceful image. Looks more like someone having a bout with insomnia than looking forward to a restful slumber.

Bright harsh colors. But it works! It conveys the sense of fatigure and impending sleep. Nice.
