A mini-tripod proved very useful when visiting the catacombs beneath Paris.
Not allowed to use flash (although not many other visitors respected that), and who wants
to spoil the mood of those pictures by lighting them up with a bright flash anyway?
The longish exposures didn't just preserve the atmosphere among the skulls and bones that
made up the walls, but even managed to capture a ghost floating in through the doorway :)
