Hell's Gate is the narrowest part of the Fraser River which is in British Columbia, Canada. The text in the upper left photo states: "On May 28, 1948 the water level was 205 feet when the foot bridge was washed away". The water level in the current shots was at about 130 feet. You can see the red sign on the rock in the upper right photo. It is there to point out the 205 foot water level mark. As you can see they built this new foot bridge a bit higher! :)
