Hi Jim, your two images definitely remind me of the times I've visited the South. I particularly like the warm light and the way that the shapes of the clouds echo that of the bridge span. One suggestion - I would either crop and/or clone out the brush in the foreground. I'm not sure you intended to include them, and they are a little distracting.
