Poison comes in small bottles. *

or should i say schnaps :) or maybe it doesn't matter. Anyway it means that just because someone looks infirior (small) you shouldn't write them of from the start. He is likely to surprise you.

This was taken in the kitchen. There are different kinds of schnaps (mead, pear, bilberry) in the bottles and water in the glass.

All comments are extremly wellcome. Don't hold back :)

Yes, this is WAY better! Very well done. One more thing....use the "skew" tool in Photoshop or Elements to straighten that front bottle, it's suffered a bit of parralex error due to the wide angle you've used.
Excellent work, and a suitably sinister feel which matches the proverb nicely.

oh and the back bottle now looks more "sinister" fitting with your maxim.

This looks much better! The 1st pic while good was more of a "snap" this is art.

Thanks for the advice Gayle. I tried it and this is what i came up with. What do you think?

Marko, I am well known for using a flashlight (among other cheap lights) to achieve mood lighting. Try one or two low wattage lights, diffused maybe (Tupperware containers are good for this), angled at your items. You do need a black backdrop for this though. Turn off all the room lights and use a tripod. It's very effective. Have a look at these....all lit with a flashlight and/or table lamp.

Thanks for all the comments. As you can see i reshot the image. I used a tablecloth for backdrop. Gayle can you tell me how to achive better lighting? I tried without flash but images i got just didn't feel right.

I like the concept of this however the shadow on the top and the angle of the pic detract from the pic. Have you thought of having the camera lower and maybe using a shallow dof so that the back bottles blur into oblivion? Also like Gayle said it needs a plain backdrop. The colours and reflections are good.

This could be a brilliant shot with a plain backdrop and better (moody) lighting. As it is, it's good but a little more thought and work would make it great. Very nice idea.

Great first post. I would remove the shadow at the top and zoom out a little to get the cork of the third bottle. theFly
