When I stare at them for a while I start to see a great flying light bulb army, on their way to some unknown destination, or maybe just headed south for the winter. These are actually multiple copies of a single image of a very cool lamp designed by Harri Koskinen. It's a glass brick, cut in half lengthwise, with room for a light bulb inside. Sold in museum stores and the like these days. The image in the photo is the top half of the brick. I couldn't get a single shot of it that satisfied me, but since it was basically a brick I decided to treat it like one and build a wall (in photoshop). Not to get too high-falutin', but Rene Magritte was definitely an influence on this one too. Ceci n'est pas une lightbulb?
Ok, like I saiad, I just can't look away! LOL! I had to come back and ask; what the heck ARE those things? Are they really light bulb shaped soap or something? Looks like maybe a seam near the bottom. It's driving me nuts - I've got to know the deal! LOL! ~ Lonnit
