Steven, cockatoos are amazingly determined birds and also incredibly gregarious. Every time we walked near his cage, he'd turn his head sideways, slide it between the bars beak first, then straighten up and screech out "Hello!!!"

It's amazing what we pay for this beautiful creatures in the states and I guess they are considered like our pigeons.
