First day with my new A70, working with my favorite subject. Picture uncropped, and only minor level adjustments in Photoshop. First time I've "planned" a shot. It's fun to venture away from my normal mindless point and shoot!

I was checking out Gayle's (my a70 idol) website and found her tips page. I followed her basic post-processing tips and it really livened up the colors and sharpness! I need to get a book on Photoshop!

Oh yea, also, can you tell he's being lifted above my head? The background is actually our ceiling. And lastly, my wife physically took the picture, but I got her positioned with the camera all set to go. So I guess technically it's her photo and I was just a consultant! :)

Jason, it's simply amazing the day you realize that the world is there for your camera, not your camera for the world! You've made the first step and if this picture is an indication of things to come we're all going to enjoy your work!
