Well done, and i appreciate that there's more story here than the typical digicam insect macro shot. I find the background a little distracting. I wonder how it might have looked on plain white (though then you'd have to touch it...)

For what its worth....previous CTFCHALLENGE post was by me.
I like this because, like my moth picture, it made my girlfriend and her mum go 'Urrrrrrgh thats horrible, switch it off'....so I guess we got the hate part. You've also combined love and hate in the same image/story which I think is the toughest part of this challenge. It is a good macro too, though I have a feeling though that the "cute warm cuddly love factor" is going to win through in this challenge rather than anything that is less warm shall we say.
