I made a new layer and added a shadow effect to that layer in Photoshop. Thanks for the comments.

I really like the contrasting white background and use of shadows i.e. on the left where the 'shell' is broken, and then on the bottom right of the image. Am I allowed to ask how you achieved the shadow on the image so that it stands out from the page?
