Can owning pets be considered a hobby? I guess it can. This is one of the first pictures I did with my Canon S30--which is Boss! Notice my Mona Lisa smile. It is like my dog, GoldiBear, is thinking of me. And indeed she does think of me a lot--I am like her hobby. Well, I have other pet pictures--but none I could find that would be more irratating to Mikey hehehe :) I do realize that with this second entry that I may cause the troublesome dilemma of having two pictures tied for first place. Oh well, I will let you all figure that one out. I do regard it egotistical on my part to even be in this contest--and rather unfair to the other contestants who don't own an S30 (sort of like cheating). But, life is unfair like that--ain't it the truth, Mikey? Good luck to everyone else in the contest! I can't wait to see what entry places third! By the way, if this picture is too big for the contest--please leave it as is for others to view and just don't include it in the contest. This picture actually is a macro of my dog--whose head is not that big--so it is an interesting shot as is to show what the Canon S30 can do in the right hands hehehe. Now some may look at the picture and note some overexposure at the top of my dog's head--but it sort of adds to my dog's wondering moment. Overexposure should not be avoided at all cost--although admittedly I could have done a little better in Photoshop--just as with my other entry--but I hardly seek out perfection. Indeed, I think it is stupid to even attempt to be perfect--sort of a Michael Jackson type mentality that I wish to avoid at all cost. But that Mona Lisa smile of mine is probably perfect :)
